The new kid on the block: Lace & Beads
Meet Pure London’s newest recruit for SS19, Lace & Beads. Based in London, the brand’s focus is to make occasion wear accessible to the wider market – without compromising on quality.
Inspired by the latest couture designs, their collections offer runway trends with their own personal twist. So whether it is a birthday party, a wedding (perhaps one on the 19th of May?) or a black-tie event, the brand guarantees to accommodate to all needs.
Already stocked at leading retailers such as Asos and Topshop, Lace & Beads will join Pure London in July, “We think Pure London is an exceptional platform that attracts numerous independent businesses in touch with new brands and vice versa".
Creating intricate hand-embellished pieces that need to be stitched on by an expert artisan, they admit that aiming to be sustainable in the fashion industry – especially the high street – is difficult, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. They proudly explain how they ensure that their work environment is as ethical as possible – start to finish, from fair wages to gender equality.
Pure London is excited to have Lace & Beads joining in July (not just for all the glitter they’ll be bringing) and the brand tells me they are intensely preparing for the SS19 show. “We are working hard to put together our winning pieces that help showcases the essence and range that our brand has to offer and we are extremely excited to showcase our stand-out pieces on the catwalk as well as meeting all our existing and potentially new clients”.
