Helen Hindley, Project Director for Help to Grow Management (HtGM)

Helen Hindley is an experienced educator and professional in fashion buying and merchandising. With over twenty years in higher education, she leads the Postgraduate Certificate in Buying & Merchandising and contributes to various other fashion management programs. Additionally, Helen has developed and delivered short courses and masterclasses for industry professionals at the London College of Fashion and worked extensively with design students on the commercial aspects of fashion.

Her career began at House of Fraser, advancing from a buying assistant to head of merchandising across multiple categories. Helen also owned a lifestyle concept store, combining her buying and merchandising expertise with entrepreneurial experience. This unique perspective allows her to offer valuable insights into the integration of design, product management, and business, which is especially beneficial for supporting students, graduates, and SMEs.

Helen has worked with LCF for several years and has been part of the HtGM team since the first cohort in February 2023.
