Jill Wanless
Jill started her career in the style industry as fashion assistant on the launch of Minx magazine in 1996 and worked her way up to Fashion Editor. She then went on to freelance for various titles including, Elle, Sunday Times Style, Marie Claire and The Guardian Weekend before taking a position as Contributing Fashion Editor on Elle girl! She continued to freelance on the teen fashion title while setting up her own company styling and art directing for commercial clients, celebrities, brands, advertising agencies and pop videos. She joined LOOK magazine in the research stage as Associate Editor at the helm of the fashion and beauty teams in 2006. In 2012 she went on to launch and edit Clique magazine, Britain’s first interactive magazine with cutting edge technology that allowed readers to shop straight from the page using their mobile phones.
She joined Hello! Fashion as Deputy Editor in the development phase in 2014 and took over as editor in 2018 where she oversaw the magazine content until last month. She has extensive experience in fashion styling, editorial and production having worked with luxury and high street brands for over 30 years.
